Our Story

Rawé began as a quiet dream, a desire to create something beautifully simple, pure, and good. After years working in branding and design, I felt a pull toward a more intentional life, one rooted in wellness, nourishment, and the kind of everyday luxury that comes from choosing what truly supports you.

Health and fitness have always been an important part of my life, and I wanted to build something that reflected that, something natural, clean, and crafted with care. So, after years in the creative industry, I hung up my marketing gloves, and returned to the place where real things are made: my kitchen.

Each jar of Rawé starts there, in small batches, we mix by hand. We source only the finest raw Acacia honey and premium nuts, chosen for their purity, flavour, and natural elegance. There are no additives, no refined sugars, no shortcuts just honest, beautiful ingredients treated with respect.

For me, Rawé is more than honey. It’s a celebration of simplicity and craftsmanship. It’s about creating nourishment that feels indulgent, wellness that feels elevated, and a moment of calm sweetness on even the busiest day.

Where Our Honey Begins

Rawé was born in my kitchen, but its roots reach far beyond it.

Our honey comes from Subcarpathia, a quietly beautiful region nestled in the foothills of the Carpathian Mountains in western Ukraine. It’s a land of ancient forests, wildflower meadows, and clean mountain air. A region long known for its deep connection to beekeeping and the rhythms of the natural world.

For generations, bees here have foraged freely across untouched landscapes, gathering nectar from delicate white acacia blossoms in spring and from a rich tapestry of wildflowers throughout the warmer months. The mountains act as a natural barrier, protecting this land from heavy industry and allowing biodiversity to thrive. It’s this purity that gives the honey its remarkable clarity, flavour, and character.

Our raw Acacia honey is harvested when the black locust trees are in bloom. The Black Locust is a recluse of nature; it blossoms for only seven to ten days a year. If the wind is too high or the rain too heavy during that tiny window, the harvest is lost. This is what makes our Acacia honey one of the rarest gifts on earth. Produced from these delicate white blossoms, the honey is light, smooth, and gently floral, naturally elegant and beautifully consistent. As the seasons change, the bees collect nectar from mountain herbs, clover, linden and wild blossoms, creating our raw Wildflower honey, deeper in flavour and layered with complexity.

Both honeys are kept exactly as nature intended raw, unheated, and minimally handled preserving their natural enzymes, antioxidants, and nourishing qualities. Nothing is added. Nothing is taken away.

These honeys form the foundation of Rawé. Our original acacia honey with whole nuts reflects the purity of its origin, while our newer blends wildflower honey infused with warming ginger, turmeric and black pepper, or combined with raw organic cacao, build thoughtfully on that same base. Each jar carries the quiet strength of the land it comes from.
